More than 250 bird species have been recorded in Finnmark. Northern and southern, western and eastern species meet across varied habitats.
Depending on the season, sightings may include golden eagle, Steller's eider, smew, white-tailed eagle, gyrfalcon, rock ptarmigan, glaucous gull, snowy owl and great grey owl.
